Good to know before you start.
What's a unit?
A small, fixed amount of work. A message with its conversation is 1 unit, an image is 4, a document is 2 plus its text. Your dashboard shows exactly what each check used.
What happens if I run out?
Deep checks pause until your allowance resets next month. On Mini and above you can top up any time, and Pro and Ultra can turn on pay-as-you-go with a spending cap you set.
Which files can it read?
Images and plain-text files from the Mini plan. PDFs, Office and OpenDocument files, and scanned pages on Pro and Ultra. Every file is scanned for malware first.
Do my moderators need an ASCA account?
No. Anyone you allow by Discord role or permission can handle reports from Discord. You only need an ASCA account to manage settings and billing.
Who can see our messages?
Messages are sent to ASCA to be checked, so ASCA is able to see them. We'd rather you know that up front. They're encrypted and protected, and nobody at ASCA reads them as a matter of routine: a person looks only when it's needed, such as when you ask us for help, when a message may involve illegal activity, which ASCA is required by law to report, or when your server chooses to share messages with us to improve the bots. We don't use them to train AI models.
Can I check a message someone sent me?
Yes. Send or forward it to M.A.C.R.O. in a direct message, or right-click any message and choose Apps, then Analyze with M.A.C.R.O. Only you see the answer, and nothing is reported or removed. It's free. Outside servers that use ASCA, connect your Discord account to a free ASCA account first.
Should I use it with A.M.A.R.?
Many servers do: A.M.A.R. checks every message instantly, and M.A.C.R.O. takes a deeper look when it matters. Each has its own plan, so you only pay for what you use.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Your server keeps its paid plan until the end of the period you've paid for, then returns to Free. Unused time isn't refunded.
