A rebuilt A.M.A.R.: more control for your moderators, clearer boundaries for members, and safer handling of the files and images people share every day.
A steadier first line, built from real community use
A.M.A.R. is out of pre-release, rebuilt from the ground up for the way Discord communities actually work. Before this release, A.M.A.R. ran in 38 communities, and their experience shaped everything here: keep the speed people liked, replace one-size-fits-all behavior with clear controls, and make every action easy for moderators to understand.
The result is a moderation bot that's useful on day one and grows with your community.
What's new
You decide how it moderates
The earlier A.M.A.R. checked text and images against one fixed setting, deleted messages, and sent basic notifications. The new A.M.A.R. keeps the fast first check and adds the controls communities asked for:
- Your rules, your limits. Choose what the bot can do on its own and what it should ask a moderator about first.
- Safer handling of files. Supported files are scanned for malware before anything reads them. Images, small text files, and supported documents are checked within strict limits, so they can't be used to slip past moderation.
- Private reports for your team. Details go to a private staff channel, never public chat. A.M.A.R. helps you set it up and checks that it works.
- Setup that checks itself. Guided setup in Discord shows which channels are covered, whether permissions are right, and whether reports will arrive.
- A place for corrections. Moderators can flag a result that was wrong, and your own review process stays in your hands.
Works the way people add Discord bots today
A.M.A.R. is its own Discord bot. Add it to a server to moderate your community, or add it to your account to privately check text or a message you choose. You can also send it a direct message to ask for help or a private check.
Free protection works without an ASCA account. Create one when you want to manage settings on the web, upgrade, keep more history, set custom rules, or recover ownership of your server's setup.
Clear decisions when it matters
A.M.A.R. follows the limits you set. When it isn't sure, it sends the case to your moderators instead of making a public call. Your dashboard shows outcomes and coverage without showing anyone's messages.
If you also use M.A.C.R.O., the two bots can work together: A.M.A.R. handles the quick first check and M.A.C.R.O. takes a closer look at the hard cases. Each bot can still be added on its own, and you decide how they work together.
Get started
Add A.M.A.R. to Discord, run the setup check, and choose a private report channel. The free defaults work right away, and everything else is there when your community needs it.
